This is just a quick post to let you know that I'm still having major issues with Blogger. I really don't understand why there are so many different problems that are hitting people seemingly at random, regardless of internet browser or operating system. It's baffling. As is the lack of response from Blogger about these concerns.
There seem to be two major themes - inability to comment, and inability to login.
It's the inability to login that is most affecting me. I have found a shortcut to get in to secretly post this, as I mentioned in the last entry, but it doesn't last. I only have a very small window of time before I'm logged out again, involuntarily.
And so I can't change my layout or design, I can't add new elements, and the spacing and formatting go completely screwy when I try to post anything. Plus, major photo problems. So I'm stuck with waiting for the time being.
I'm terribly sorry for this unexpected and extended absence, but none of the suggestions that Blogger has endorsed have worked for me. As for commenting, I'm staying away from that too, because being repeatedly kicked out of my Dashboard means that I can't use it as I usually do as the starting point for visiting all my favourite stitchy blogs. Seriously, I'm in stitchy blog *withdrawal*.
Thanks very much for your continued patience, and I hope that I'll be able to return to regular posting in the very near future. In the meantime, I'm still working on the backstitching of my Twilight Angel, and will at least have lots of new photos to share when my service gets restored. Really sorry to read that you're continuing to experience Blogger issues.
I've no idea how many people have Blogger accounts, but I'm guessing there must be several servers, which is why some people have experienced problems, and others haven't.
Let's hope these issues get sorted soon, as the stitchy blog withdrawal sounds quite unpleasant. x
So sorry to hear about all of the issues your still having with Blogger. I couldn't log out of blogger for about a week, but at least it didn't really affect me. I hope your issues get resolved soon and I look forward to seeing an update on Twilight Angel.

Flossy: "Silly" is certainly one word for it *grin* It took a lot longer than I had hoped, but I'm hoping things will be okay now. *knock on wood*
CrazyStitcher: Thanks very much :) Yeah, it was really weird how there were all these different problems hitting people with little in common.
Google's official line is corrupted data, which caused that major meltdown. I think these new problems were just ripple effects from broken or corrupted code that didn't fully restore following the meltdown. But that's just my very unscientific theory, LOL.
And, for the record, stitchy blog withdrawal makes for a very cranky and cantankerous stitcher. ;)
Karen: That is horrible! I hope that everything is okay, and that you were on your own computer. I read on the Google Help Forum that there were some people using public computers (an Internet cafe, at school, at work etc.) that couldn't sign off, and so their blog was basically left open for anyone to change.
That sounds like a total nightmare, and I hope it didn't happen to you! It's bad enough to be on a shared home computer. :( Thanks very much for the best wishes!
Fortunately for me, it was my home computer. So, not that big of a deal.
